Delete your Steelplumb data

1. Email support@steelplumb.com from the email address on the account. That is how we confirm the request is yours.
2. Put Delete my data in the subject line.
3. Tell us your company name, so we can find the right account when one person works for more than one contractor.
4. We reply to confirm, then complete the deletion within 30 days. You do not need to do anything else.

If you no longer have access to that email address, write from any address and we will verify another way rather than refuse the request.

• Your name, email address, and sign-in history
• Push notification tokens for every device you signed in on
• Voice recordings and the transcripts made from them
• Photos you attached to daily logs
• The text of your daily logs and field requests
• Location points recorded when you clocked in and out

Some records belong to the contractor who employs you rather than to us, and we cannot delete them on your instruction alone:

• Hours worked per project. Your employer needs these as payroll and job-cost records. They stay in your employer’s account. Ask whoever runs Steelplumb at your company to remove them, and we act on that instruction.
• Invoices and payment records. Retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which in the United States is generally seven years.

Routine backups age out on their normal cycle. Nothing deleted is restored from a backup into a live system.

If you own the company account, you can ask us to delete the entire organisation: every project, estimate, daily log, photo, recording, time entry, field request, and user account belonging to it. Email us from the owner address with Delete our organisation in the subject. This is not reversible, so we confirm with you before starting, and then complete it within 30 days.

If your company connected QuickBooks, data we derived from it is purged when you disconnect or when the account is deleted, subject to the same legal retention above. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
